I didn't have Enable reverse scrolling direction in my Synaptic driver settings and solution instantly works for me without reboot. Uncheck the Enable reverse scrolling direction checkbox, and close all the dialogs Press Settings, and in the new dialog that opens, select Two-Finger Scrolling, then click the cogwheel button Go to Device Settings tab, and make sure the Synaptics LuxPad V8.1 is selected Go to Synaptics Pointing Device options (either right-click the icon in the notification area, or right-click the desktop, select Personalize, then Change mouse pointers) Uncheck Enable reverse scrolling direction, then Close, then Apply, and you will become as happy as I was, when I finally figured it out :). Click on this Settings button this will open another window for two-finger scrolling options (I know, they didn't make it easy :)). I like the natural scrolling of the touchpad, but the mouse is automatically set to do the opposite (scroll. Let me know your computer's make and model so that right instructions can be provided. You can try Windows Key+i > Devices > Touchpad > Reverse scrolling direction if there is no manufacturer specific driver. This is a very device specific setting as each manufacturer has their own drivers for touchpad. The first thing I noticed was that two-finger scrolling on my trackpad was reversed (sliding down scrolls up and sliding up scrolls down) from what I previously had on Windows 8. I am here to work with you on this problem. Click on "Two-finger scrolling" (it should be checked). Hi there, I have an Asus UX31A Zenbook and have recently upgraded to Windows 10. This will open a new window "Properties for Synaptics.". For Windows 10: Win + s -> Additional mouse option -> (Synaptics) Device Settings -> Settings.
